In the face of global challenges related to climate change and renewable energy, partnerships between educational institutions and businesses have become more crucial than ever. On August 17, 2024, at the HUTECH TECHSHOW 2024, the New Energy Ho Chi Minh Club (NEH) signed a collaboration agreement with Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH). Aimed at fostering stronger ties between academia and industry in the renewable energy sector, this event not only opened up numerous opportunities for students but also created sustainable value for the community and society.
At the event, Alena Energy introduced the eWORKM solution, an advanced AI-driven tool designed to help businesses optimize their management of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) commitments. With eWORKM, participating companies can easily monitor and report on their ESG progress while optimizing production and operations according to sustainable standards.
This year’s event attracted 68 businesses looking to fill 3,500 job positions. Companies had the opportunity to observe students’ skills in action, with over 237 graduation projects from more than 1,000 HUTECH Institute of Engineering students on display.
Mr. Phan Ngoc Anh, Chairman of the New Energy Ho Chi Minh Club and Director of Alena Energy, shared, “Our company specializes in renewable energy solutions, contributing to building a green and sustainable future. We are currently seeking talented candidates for positions such as Electric Vehicle & Charging Station Engineer, Renewable Energy Engineer, and Solar Power Engineer. HUTECH Techshow 2024 is a great opportunity for us to connect with young, talented professionals while introducing exciting projects and career opportunities at Alena.”
Mr. Anh emphasized that HUTECH Techshow 2024 offers numerous benefits for both businesses and students. Companies can recruit talent, showcase products and technologies, and expand their partner networks. Meanwhile, students gain real-world experience, access to new technologies, job and internship opportunities, and soft skills development.
The partnership between the New Energy Ho Chi Minh Club and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology not only directly benefits students but also contributes to creating sustainable value for the community and society. Through training, internships, and research programs, students will be equipped with the necessary skills to enter the new energy labor market. In this way, NEH and HUTECH not only promote individual development but also help build a solid foundation for the sustainable energy sector in Vietnam. The collaboration between universities and businesses like NEH and HUTECH is expected to open up numerous opportunities for advancing R&D activities. Joint research projects will bring value not only to individuals but to society as a whole.
The eWORKM solution not only helps businesses effectively implement ESG commitments but also contributes positively to building a green and sustainable economy in Vietnam. With eWORKM, managing and tracking sustainable goals becomes more manageable, thereby promoting comprehensive development for both businesses and society.
